Bill HD 1756 will Save Lives

On January 15, 2025 bill HD 1756, An Act relative to saving lives through awareness and enactment, was submitted by John P. Gomes for Tudo Djunto, and has been sponsored and filed by representative Russell Holmes.

This act is to establish a method to make it possible for an incarcerated person to help a loved one who is in need of a lifesaving donation. As John P Gomes said “this act is important because it will give an incarcerated person a say, a voice, a choice, to help save a life of a loved one”.

Currently the draft is being worked on by House counsel.
